The guys reported that the weather has been absolutely beautiful and is forecasted to remain so until they fish their last half day tomorrow before journeying home. The conditions were a 180 from yesterday and fish were around, but they were uncooperative.
The day ended with 10 nice tuna from 80 - 150lbs and that was topped by first time passenger Christopher Norman-Polk's 223lber.
There was steady wahoo fishing to fill in the gaps and everyone has fish...... which is always the goal.

Action Packed Day

Capt Kiyohara called tonight to update us on their adventures.....#1 they are having gorgeous weather. Their day started with a couple of handfuls of tuna up to 150lbs, which was followed by steady Wahoo action for a couple of hours (during which time there was a constant tug-of-war playing out with the sharks)... and then back to tuna fishing with 80 - 160lbers being caught. The report for today is a couple handful of larger models - the highlights being Rick Okuni's 263lber and Hurricane Bill's 259lber, along with a couple handfuls of smaller models and a few wahoo to boot. We definitely see more tuna than we are boating, the weather is beautiful and we have more time - so we'll just take it from here....... Read More
