Right place right time Arriving today in our new area as the sun was cracking we stopped the boat and never fired up until it was time to go home. One stop would get the job done and let us enjoy a all day plunker bite on 18-66lb bluefin. At times having 5 to 8 going with controlled pandemonium, but nothing but sheer excitement. once it was all said and done one could only say, being in the right place at the right time is a blessing to be thankful for. A corner shot of some of the boys bending shows off some of the good times we where able to share together. Steve Shiba shows off one of his many bluefin. Larry Motoyama claims the daily jackpot with his 66lb slug. A perfect way to finish with a awesome group of guys.

Keeping ourselves in the ball game and starting around yesterday's big fish area, we went to work right away. Utilizing the grease calm weather we've been blessed with, the boys in binoculars were able to put us on a nice line of kelps. Beautiful 18-25lb yellowtail supplied us with most of our action - along with a couple handfuls of bluefin and yellowfin.
