Despite the difficult weather condition, the guys came home from this 2.5 day trip with a beautiful catch of bluefin - most 30 - 60#s with standout jackpot fish caught by Rose O'Brien - a whopping 135lber. Congratulations Rose!



They are off this afternoon on another short adventure and looks like this lucky group will enjoy lovely weather!

Patience

Today's bluefin fishing was a plunker bite to the extreme. Bites were very hard to come by and required an immense amount of patience and time at the rail. We did catch some smaller grade 15lb fish but once again our total catch of 26 fish included several nice 25-40lb fish. You Never Know

A few days prior to this trip the weather report looked absolutely hideous.... Forecasted 20-25kts of wind and a sensitive bluefin bite was not adding up to much fun. We were prepared to go the distance and go wherever we needed to catch some fish and the group cooperated by showing up for an early departure.
