Capt. Ray Lopez backed the American Angler backed in at 6am with a nice yellowtail and bluefin catch. Once again, there were a variety of folks on the boat, including quite a few people trying this for the first time or for the first time in a long time; either way - a huge thanks to everyone for coming fishing on this trip.

Congrats to jackpot winner Ari Young for his 67lb bluefin (pictured above with his sister who caught a 62lber!)





They depart today at 4pm for a 2.5 day trip so check back!

Another nice trip

Capt. Lopez just checked in tonight with good news about today's trip. They went from all morning action on yellowtail to action on Bluefin tuna to dark. When the smoke cleared they had great yellowtail fishing and 43 Bluefin from 25 - 40lbs, with the exception of the dozen over 60lbs. Look for pictures and captains report tomorrow.
