We started out on the yellowfin grounds with high expectations because a couple of days prior, the guys had phenomenal fishing. Our day was "albacore style" fishing as we either had jig stops our shut down on meter marks for stops between 1 and 19 fish. We did not load up but we enjoyed consistent fishing on nice grade yellowfin tuna as we ended up with everyone aboard at least catching one with the boat total of almost three around.

After yesterday's tough fishing, we were all ready to blow off some steam. At daylight we were greeted with flat calm weather, good current conditions and biting fish.
