We ran back up the line through where we had all the tuna action on the way down. Where we saw great action before, we saw very little fish as it was the same old story of the fish going up and down and today they were not showing.
Our annual James Gang trip is coming to an end and overall it was a good one. We caught plenty of fish but that isn't what makes the trip. We look forward every year to seeing the familiar faces and meeting a few new people as this is always one of our favorites. Dave Samarin and his organization and prizes and Dan Shubin with all the special food and treats are an important part of the trip along with many other unsung contributors that make this one special and we appreciate it.

We traveled down to the yellowtail grounds with aspirations of keeping the ball rolling. We spent the night drifting on the grounds and it was so calm the boat barely moved. When we got up in the morning it was socked in fog which made it hard to see fish on the surface but when the fog lifted we made up for it in a big way.
