Generally leaving on one of these fall ten day trips everyone has bigger and tropical things on the brain. In our case we had the option to do a little something out of the ordinary. Putting the brakes on last night we made a pit stop and had the luxury of using some tags on 18-22lb bluefin. It was such a rare opportunity, we could not resist stopping for some of these beautiful sashimi nuggets. Quick bites were to be had at times, but for the most part it was a good pace for the gang to get settled in.
Now with the cobwebs swept away, we are continuing our journey south in hopes of more and different biters.
The first star of the trip belongs to Fermin Diaz showing off his bluefin as he makes future plans for a little sashimi.
