After a productive day yesterday with rigging up and settling in, we arrived on the grounds first thing ready for a fresh start. However a fresh start is more than what we would need to get the ball rolling. With shortage of sign for the better half, we kept hard at it waiting for our shot and as the sun was at the horizon a glimmer of hope appeared, finally sliding into a stop and bending a few rods. A quick whack at some 20-30lb yellowfin highlighted our day but only for brief moment.
Hoping for another chance, it was just a little too late and dark had taken over, but thankful for the opportunity at hand we are continuing south looking for all day bonanzas.
Long range veteran Art Preston kicks things off by picking up one of these yellowfin beauties.
