Leaving the dock on our annual Randall Lamb day and half trip, the local reports gave us high hopes. With a short over night run to the grounds, the fish didn't even let the sun come up before we had several hook ups in the dark/grey hour, with most of those bites taken on some sort of heavy chrome jig.  We pieced a few stops together throughout the morning which kept us plenty busy and having fun and so feeling we had our tuna fix for the day we switched gears and decided to try for a few trophy yellowtail.

As luck was on our side today, a couple go arounds of these beautiful yellows put the the icing on the cake to wrap up this great day on the water.
