Small samples
After rolling down in very breezy conditions, we were very thankful to start off fishing today in much improved weather and even though we can't say the fishing matched our weather, we went along with it and did manage to get a small sample of what we hope is more to come. Now that the weather is nice, we look forward to the fishing showing signs of improvement as well. John Metcalf picked off the his first fish of the trip hitting the scale at 161lbs.

We had times of very tough weather which made fishing conditions tough this trip. There was sign of fish but it was very difficult to get bites with the combination of the wind and smaller hook baits. However, on this trip the plus sides definitely outweighed the minuses. The grade of fish was a very nice 90-190lbs with a few that weighed over two hundred pounds. Most importantly was the cohesiveness of the group that seems to be the signature of this...... Read More
