The Warm Springs to Trout Creek stretch has kicked off with strong fishing. Water levels are around 4500 CFS, slightly off-color in places, but fishing has been productive. Expect trout to be hanging close to the banks, especially with stonefly nymphs on the move. Productive nymphs include Girdle Bugs, 2-Bits, Perdigons, Caddis Pupae, and Walt’s Worms. There’s also the potential for March Browns and PMDs to make appearances in the afternoons. Keep an eye on flows and be cautious wading where tributaries add volume near Warm Springs.
