Galesville anglers like other reservoir anglers in Douglas County will have more success fishing with flashy lures and with slower presentations. The reservoir was stocked twice in the month of April. The reservoir is at full pool now.

Hat Rock Pond: Hat Rock Pond is scheduled to be stocked with rainbow trout the week of April 28
McNary Channel Ponds: Trout are likely to be the most active in the morning and late evening hours
McKay Reservoir: McKay Reservoir is about 90 percent full
Umatilla River: Spring Chinook are starting to push into the Umatilla River
Bikini Pond: Bikini Pond has been stocked a few times already this spring
Hood River: The spring Chinook fishery on the Hood opened on April 15.
Laurance Lake: Laurance Lake is open for the season
Pine Hollow Reservoir: Stocked Recently
Santiam River ( North Fork) : Fishing is generally best when flows are below 3,000 cfs
Applegate Reservoir: Hold-over trout are also available, so fishing should be very good
Emigrant Reservoir: Emigrant is 100 percent full
Fish Lake : Fish Lake is 74 percent full
