Anglers reported decent fishing in the aqueduct, with most focusing on the cooler parts of the day. Striped bass were taken on cut sardines, chicken liver, and live bait fished with a one- to three-ounce slide sinker depending on flow, while Zara Spooks and jerkbaits produced zebras at first light. Catfish action was good after dark on SSS dip bait, chicken liver, and anchovies. Largemouth bass preferred weightless dark-colored Senkos, and poppers drew strikes on long casts near check gates.
