Fishing is good to fair for rainbows averaging 12" to 14". Most rainbows are being caught on power bait. Fly fishing has been very good for trout. All boat ramps are open. Check with the lodge and the forest service for available camping.

Diamond Lake has been stocked with tiger and brown trout. These fish were introduced to help control illegally introduced tui chub. These trout are catch-and-release only and need to be released immediately and unharmed if caught. Follow these catch-and-release tips for reducing fish mortality.
