Water level is in good shape going into the fall, and smaller boats can still use the boat ramp. Fishing opportunities will remain limited with some smaller channel catfish and crappie available to anglers. The occasional Lahontan Cutthroat Trout may also be caught as cutthroat wash down from the higher mountain streams.

South Fork Reservoir: Water temperatures are creeping back down into the 60s

South Fork Reservoir: Algae continues to impact water clarity and weed growth is thick in the southern portion of the reservoir
Ruby Lake NWR: Trout fishing has been fair to good
Jiggs Reservoir (Zunino Reservoir): The water is still warm so trout fishing remains slow.
Jakes Creek Reservoir (Boies Reservoir): Water levels are normal for this time of year, but weeds are impacting fishing access for shoreline anglers
Angel Lake: Anglers are catching trout in the 10″ range
