Most Redband Trout have moved out of Klamath River, Lake Ewauna and Link River and moved to water quality refuge upstream of the lake in the Williamson, Wood River or Pelican Bay areas. Redband typically return by late October. Check Link River Flows.
ODFW also encourages the use of single barbless hooks in this fishery, not removing fish from the water and catch-and-release rubber nets. Open year round with catch-and-release only for redband trout. No bait allowed
