Access to the upper Breitenbush River has re-opened. The river was stocked was stocked regularly throughout June and July. Chinook are spawning and there are dead and dying adult salmon in some sections. Please give live salmon the space they need to spawn and produce the next generation. Don't let dogs eat or chew on salmon carcasses as these contain a toxin that can be lethal to dogs
