Fish Lake is 42 percent full and was stocked a few weeks ago. Aquatic weeds are forcing anglers to fish strategically at Fish Lake. Look for openings in the vegetation and still fish garlic power bait about 2 ft off the bottom.
The USFS reports problems with the water system. Porta-potties have been installed, but the fish cleaning station will not be available this year.
Anglers are encouraged to report catches of tiger trout or send other fishing reports to Rogue Fish District Staff 541-826-8774.
