The lake level is 1,813ft and the water surface temperature at Lost Creek is 64F. The lake was stocked with 6,000 rainbow trout last week, and anglers have had decent success on legal-sized and larger trout trolling. Fishing for smallmouth bass has also been good.
Trollers fishing for trout can have very good success at Lost Creek using a variety of lures. Trout can be caught at a variety of depths from the surface down to about 50 feet. 3/4oz is a good choice for weight for trolling.
Lost Creek also offers good bank fishing access, and fishing on both sides of the dam can be very effective using PowerBait.
