"Good Morning Folks," wrote Red Rooster III skipper Joe D'Acquisto August 1, "Sorry we haven't been able to report but we have had no signal. We had a good day the first day offshore with yellowtail, dorado, and a couple of yellowfin tuna. The weather was really nasty and it made things tough. We went in to Cedros Island and had a great day yesterday on yellowtail. We had twelve to eighteen-pound fish and the came back up to the island and some cow yellows just before dark. This morning we are fishing for cow yellow and are catching some at this time we have fifteen with biggest one pushing fifty pounds the rest are forty pounds. We are stoked to have great weather and good fishing. Just in case this thing wont let me put out any more, we would like to thank all our sponsors Shimano, Owner hooks, Izorline, Salas jigs, Lead Masters, Big Hammer Lures, Berkley and Five Star for all the great giveaways. Also thanks to bluefin Jim for putting this trip together. Wish us luck we will report back later."
