"Today was split into two different halves," said the report from Intrepid October 1. "Our morning and first half of the day was with lots of quality Tails and Good Grade Dorado hitting the deck for all. It was steady fishing until the bite slowed and so did the anglers as they had all they wanted of those two types of fish. The only Wahoo that we hooked today tossed the jig back at us right next to the boat! The second half was a move offshore in search of Yellowfin for the rest of the afternoon without finding any Tuna. The conditions were there with beautiful water, porpoise all around, but no Tuna, so we are now on our way to a different zone."
