Joe D'Acquisto brought Red Rooster III home to H&M Landing October 7 after an eight-day trip down the Baja that found limits of yellowtail, seven wahoo and some good tuna at Alijos Rocks.

Wally Akimoto of San Diego won first place for a 108-pound yellowfin. He told Bill Roecker he caught it with a sardine on a 5/0 Mustad hook on 50-pound Seaguar fluorocarbon, 50-pound Maxima line and 80-pound Spiderwire on a Trinidad 30 reel and a seven-foot GRUSA rod.
