"We rolled into one of our favorite and most beautiful fishing spots on the way home today," noted the Royal Polaris report for October 9. "Drifting for Calico Bass and Halibut is super fun especially when you get 'em. Twenty Halibut up to 28 pounds put smiles on all our faces. The weather was perfect, sunny and hot. The food was great too! This trip is rapidly coming to an end but we still might peek around for some tuna tomorrow while motoring to the dock.
