"A very fun day for everyone here in the Tropics," noted Intrepid skipper Kevin Osborne April 4. "The day was mixed with Kayaking up a new found River and fishing with our local kayaking up the huge river was something special, there were crocodiles swimming across in front of us and Bull Sharks lurking around the surface feeding on bait fish. The wild life was spectacular to say the least. Iguanas and waterfowl of all different species were abundant in the tress overhead providing lots of racket as we passed by. The fishing late in the day was very good for all who were inshore with us. We have relocated to an area we passed by at the end of our last trip that looked very scenic and promising in the way of structure fishing, and it is paying off big time! The Cubera Snappers, Rooster fish, Pargo, and Giant Amberjack like the one Cameron shows off in the photo around 70 pounds are biting! Chef Patrick Lawrence got into some of the action with me on our skiff and caught enough Pargo and Snapper to provide everyone with a tasty dinner tonight."
