"A nice day today," observed Red Rooster III skipper Andy Cates May 28. "We went by Alijos Rocks around lunch time and now heading down in warm sunny weather.

"We did a tuna seminar today and that gave us something to do to eat up the rest of the day. A quick stop tonight for squid and then on the rode again. Right now we are headed to the Bank, unless Justin (skipper Fleck aboard Excel) comes on tomorrow with the 911 to head to the Island. We should probably split up and check both spots just to get a look. We will do a wahoo seminar tomorrow and then be at the bank the next morning."
