"Just finished our trip with Eagle Claw on the Pacific Quest and what a great time. We had Martin Riddle, marketing manager for Eagle Claw on the boat with his relatives. We also had Captain Mike Norton from Pizazz sportfishing. Captain's Josh Walton and Greg Pregler were running this trip. We started at Catalina for an all night, getting a fish a cast on legal Calicos and got the call to move to Santa Barbara. The next morning found us at the ridge at Santa Barbara where some jumbo Sheephead and Whitefish made their way on the boat. That evening, with the help of the Quest's lighting system, we made full tanks of squid. The morning found different conditions and we went on the hunt. We finished with all you wanted Calicos, 4 legal Halibut and this SBI Monster landed on an Eagle Claw L319 3/0 hook. It weighed 67.4 pounds on the scale at Pierpoint, no doubt over 70 pounds when caught. Thanks Bill!"
