Red Rooster returns from 3 Day trip with 101 Yellowfin, 216 Bluefin & 2 Dorado

Skipper Derek Waldman docked Red Rooster III at H&M Landing September 2 after a three-day trip that fished offshore. The group caught 101 yellowfin tuna, two dorado and 216 bluefin tuna.

1st Place: 50.6-pound yellowfin, Steve Morey of Valencia
2ND Place: 46.0-pound bluefin, Andrew Vodopia of Murrieta
3RD Place: 40.8-pound bluefin, Dean Okamura of Huntington Beach
Trolling Jackpot: 37.4-pound yellowfin tuna, John Frizzell
