Green River
by Trout Creek Flies Staff
9-2-2021
Flows are in good shape along with good water temps. There are no closures due to water temps or flows.
Dry flies:
Teresterialls are the name of the game for the next while. We are fishing everything from small beetle patterns all the way up to large ant and hopper patterns. Run some long drifts and feel free to give it some action. There are some smaller fall mayflies hatching in select areas that can be a lot of fun.
Nymphing:
Small fall mayflies, midge, scuds, and worms are the main meal tickets.
Streamers:
Streamers are starting to be really good on cloudy days and early and late. Cycle through you color selection.
