With good reports heading into today, we didn't know what to expect. When we made it to the grounds the sun wasn't even up yet and the rods started to bend. By mid morning this had become some of the best bluefin fishing we have seen all year. Keeping 1 to 8 going on beautiful 18-40lbers was the recipe for aN all day plunker drift. At times some even took a minute to sit back and watch the epic fishing. Father/son team Phil and Ryan Leitner share a smile showing off one of their nice bluefin of the day, as does Darren Hiraoka displaying one of his trophies today as well.
Going to try our luck again tomorrow once more before its time to head up.
