Ice fishing is often fair to good for tiger and cutthroat trout with standard ice tackle and baits. Anglers occasionally catch kokanee salmon through the ice as well. Try adding a flasher to your line and fish suspended over deep water. Anglers typically target kokanee near the dam in deeper water. Access is by snowmobile or foot. Ice-off occurs in May, but access to the boat ramp may not be open till June due to snow drifts
