The Forebay is open to boating. Fishing has been pretty good with boaters catching them on ripbaits, lipless, and swimbaits. Colors such as chrome, and shad patterns have been the most effective. Boaters have also been trolling with pointer 100's and 128's in chartreuse shad and ghost minnow. The shore anglers have been doing good too by the Check 12 area and underneath the 152 bridge. Delta shad, pile worms, and blood worms have been the go-to baits.
