Fished McClure Saturday for the BBT. The lake has come up over 30′ in the last week. Water temp was in the high 50’s reach low 60’s in the afternoon. Water clarity 1′ to 3′ with a light mud stain. Fish were for 1′ to 10′ in the water column. Big fish were hard to come by. The bite was sporadic. With our bigger fish coming in the afternoon. Although some guys caught big fish in the morning. We caught our fish on spinnerbaits, cranks, senkos, flukes, and had three bumps on a swim bait but didn’t hook up. After the storms this week this lake should be on fire with fish starting to bed.
