Stocking of DFW trout has improved shore fishing! Best early morning or evening! Lake is sitting at 61% capacity and fishing very well. Honker Cove boat ramp in water and Camp Five launch is open but no dock. Bankers doing okay at Eagle Point and Mallard Cove. Chartreuse Powerbait or similar colored powerbait and inflated nightcrawlers on a 2-3-foot leader. Fly Flingers doing well on Hex patterns in the evenings (Yes, Hex's still), Callibaetis in all stages throughout the day, and midges in the morning. Jay Fair's Wiggletails have been very good recently! Some guys getting into double digits but some being stumped with 1-2 fish days. Trollers action has picked up around the Channel and North of the Big Island 12-15 down with Dick Nites, Needlefish, Flashers and Crawlers.
