Stocked the week of 8/21 but with the pressure this lake is seeing this year the fishing recently has been difficult for the novice. Meat bees (ground dwelling hornets) and paper wasps are everywhere around this lake so use caution while recreating! Fishing better from the boat but still one of the nicer lakes to get away from all the crowds! Stocking will improve shore fishing for the next few weeks. Boaters, don't forget to start looking for fish right off the boat launch! Most are going across the lake and most the fish are just off the boat launch! Lake is officially sitting at 99% capacity and is actually spilling over the dam. Fishing has been good here but isn't as red hot as it was months ago! That just means you'll have to work to catch fish now. Stocked the weeks of 8/23/16, 7/1/16, and 6/5/16.
