Carl Schmidt called in this evening with an update from Fisherman’s Landing in San Diego, CA. The Liberty checked in with 22 Bluefin Tuna (20 to 30 pounds class). We lost a lot of fish this morning. It was tough. We could have got limits if we executed. The Pacific Queen checked in with 13 Bluefin Tuna (20 to 35 pound class).

There are bigger fish around right now. There was on angler who got spooled today. We did hook some but did not get any to the boat.

We recommend 20 to 30 pound test with fluorocarbon leader. The live bait is working or flat falls. Also bring a heavier stick for the big Bluefin.
