Below the dam along the Colorado River has been some what slow. the casino area has been showing some signs of our small stripers in the 1 to 2 pound range which seems to be all the way to the nature center. When you find a school of these line sides its almost every cast you will land one. If you are losing your bait or no hook ups try a smaller hook and some bait wrap thread for your anchovy. Your lures or hard swim baits should and might produce some striped bass in a larger size. Try to use a lure in the 6 inch range. My favorite is the long a and the glide swimmer. Both of these lures have been used to catch these line sides in the 20 plus pound range.
