As 2017 marks the completion of the North Coast MPA baseline monitoring phase, each Community Gathering will provide an opportunity to learn about:
- The State of the California North Coast report, a synopsis of ecological, biological, oceanographic, and socioeconomic conditions during the initial phase of monitoring. The report will be released in late October.
- The status of California’s MPA Management Program, including next steps for long-term MPA monitoring.
Please visit the recently posted blog on OceanSpaces to learn more about the gatherings, including details about the North Coast Snapshot Series and North Coast Monitoring Survey.
Leading up to these gatherings, the Oceanspaces North Coast page is a great resource for updated information on North Coast MPA monitoring.
