The bass bite is starting to pick up with the water clearing up. Bass are going for reactions baits and margarita mutilator robo worms in the 4” to 6” length on a wacky rig and Texas rig.

Crappie are very active with 1-2 lbs. fish being caught regularly. They are biting lipless crank baits and live shiners.

Bluegill are biting in big numbers with most people catching over a dozen in one trip. Bluegill are going for night crawlers.

Catfish and carp are holding a strong steady bite and going for dough baits and mackerel
