Bass have been biting on spinner baits in white and yellow. They also have been loving live bait, shiners seem to be the favorite. Tilapia are biting very active with most going for live night crawlers. Bluegill are going for meal worms, wax worms and night crawlers. Catfish are being caught on mackerel and dough baits. Crappie have not been very active.

Bass have been very active and hungry. A lot of anglers have been having luck with top water lures early in the morning. Texas rig with plastic worms is also a favorite. Bass bite is steady with many biting on plastics ( worms, creatures, jigs) some jerk baits also. Crappie bite is still going strong with more going for live shiners. Catfish are biting towards the narrows with many biting on mackerel. Bluegill is very strong with night crawlers being the favorite bait.
