On Saturday, December 14, 2019, 421 fisherman attended the first of five 2019/2020 San Bernardino County Regional Parks’ Trout Derbies. A total of 60 trout were registered, with the top trout weighing in at 10 lbs. and 7 oz. It was caught by Elias Misael of Highland, CA using spin bait on the large lake. Twenty-four additional prizes were given out with trout weighing  9 lbs. to 1 lb. 9oz.

First Place: Elias Misael from Highland, CA – 10 lbs. and 7 oz. – Large Lake – Spin Bait

Second Place: Robert Valdez, Jr. from San Bernardino, CA – 9 lbs. – Small Lake – CML Minnow

Third Place: Mike Pulicari from Rancho Cucamonga, CA – 6 lbs. 6 oz. – Large Lake – Gordito Jig

Fourth Place: George Jimenez from La Puente, CA – 3 lbs. 13 oz. – Large Lake- Power Bait

Fifth Place: Fabian Argaez from San Bernardino, CA – 3 lbs. 10 oz. – Large Lake – Green Jig
