TROUT
The trout fishing has remained about the same as of late and there is still quite a few of the smaller planter trout being caught from 20-40 feet deep with speedy shiners, rapalas and other small shad imitations but for the most part the large fish are deep. There has been reports of big trout being caught as deep as 90 feet while trolling. Most of the bigger trout are holding up by the dam and up in the river section along the rock walls.

BASS
The bass fishing is still relatively good and the better sized fish are becoming more and more active as they get ready to spawn here in mid to late March. For the most part the smaller fish are up shallow and the larger ones are down from 20 to 40 feet deep and feeding more actively. Some have began to hit on slow rolling spinnerbaits and Keitech's while the vast majority will bite on jigs, dropshots, senkos, shaky heads and ned rigs along with other smaller presentations.

CATFISH
None to report on.

CRAPPIE
The crappie have just begun to get more active here lately, there is a few being caught but they are large. Most of the fish reported have been caught at night with submersible lights, crappie jigs and minnows. The fish that have been reported were in 20 to 30 feet of water and these fish should begin to get more active and school up sometime in the middle or end of March.
