Anglers are reminded that it is illegal to use live fish as bait in any Oregon lake, river or stream. Fish Lake Cabins are currently available. The lodge and café are still closed. It’s best to call ahead to confirm the most current status of the lodge and café: 541-949-8500 or check their Facebook page.

Ice fishing is probably on hold this weekend, but the evenings are still cold and snow is forecast for Thursday and Friday. The weekend will warm up a bit though. The last reported ice thickness was 17 inches 2 weeks ago. Anglers should proceed with extreme caution in these next few days.

The Hwy 140 webcam at Lake of the woods will give you a good idea of the road conditions. Anglers are reminded that a Snow Park permit is necessary if parking around Fish Lake.
