Trout fishing opened May 22. With low water conditions, anglers will want to look for cooler water in deeper pools and near tributary mouths.
There may still be some steelhead smolts dropping into the mainstem and migrating out to the ocean. Please use care to safely release these fish and move to a new location if smolt are caught.
