Fishing has been great at most of the city lakes. We have a new supply of shinners at the bait shop so stop in and get what you need.

The bass have been biting the senkos and robos with either the drop shot or Texas rig. Try no weight at all and let them flutter naturally.

A few red ear have been seen coming in and the bluegill bite is still strong.

Greetings from Lake Murray, in La Mesa, CA. As the water warms up the bass are moving closer to shore. Plastics continue to work best with either a small drop or completely weightless. Bass are spotted in 15 to 20 feet of water. Swimbaits and senkos are producing the biggest fish. Live night crawlers and red worms are still a good option. Greetings from Lake Murray in La Mesa, CA. The Bass spawn is a little over due and should be here anytime. Right now they are being spotted both deep and shallow. The best bait has been the live bait sold inside the shop. The best plastics worms ahem been the margarita mutilator and the robo worm with the drop shot.
