The water levels in Boca have dropped slightly, but the kokanee bite is still good. The size of the Kokanee are topping out around 15 inches. Any anglers trolling for Kokanee in Boca Reservoir should troll 25 to 35 feet in the deepest parts of the reservoir using pink squids, kok-a-nuts, paulina peak flutter bugs in purple and pink, or purple apex lures. Shore anglers are currently doing the best by the dam using inflated nightcrawlers, garlic powerbait, or kastmasters. If you are planning on launching a boat at Boca, be cautious of mud so your vehicle does not get stuck.
Boca Reservoir is currently at 50% capacity
