We've got clear skies! What a difference a rain storm can make! The river continues to fish well with a great Callibaetis spinner fall happening just about every morning and the hatch begins around ten or so. Fish will key on a very specific size, #14 , the Last Chance Cripple in Callibaetis has been a good fly, also fishing a #14 Flashback Pheasant Tail has worked very well under an indicator or Big Head Moth. The fishing will usually be good until the early afternoon when the debris brings some chaos. Watch out for the small white mayflies hatching, the Canis can have the fish keying on a #22-24 white pattern. Midges and BWO patterns will also be effective along with stripping Zug Bugs and Damsel Leeches.

Hot Flies:  TB Drowned Rusty Spinner, PMD's, Norman's Wiggletails, Pheasant Tails, Mercer's Missing Link, Zug Bugs, and Leeches.
