The fishing has slowed down this week, most likely due to the sudden change in temperature. The cold weather has pushed the bass back into deeper water around 15-20 feet deep. Drop shot seems to be giving anglers the most success along with live shiners and nightcrawlers.

There have been minimal reports of panfish and catfish but that doesn’t mean they aren’t out there waiting to eat. Stop by the concession for some live crickets. The panfish love them!

Fishing has definitely picked up due to the warmer weather we have been having. The afternoon bite for Bass fishing this weekend was better than the morning bite. Anglers have reported various depths for Bass, which is normal for this time of year. The most popular method right now is drop shot and crank baits.
