The bass bite has remained steady on finesse baits fished in 15' to 20' of water all over the lake. Most of the fish are in the 1.5lb. to 3lb. range, with the occasional 4lb. to 5lber. showing as well. Bluegill have yet to show in any numbers, although there's been some nice red ear showing in the toll road arm. Catfish went unreported to the concession last week.

The cooler weather has pushed a lot of bass off the bank last week, making for a bit tougher conditions. Finesse techniques in 15' to 20' of water produced the best results for fish 1.5lb to 3lb. range. The bigger females have yet to make a good showing this spring. Rising water temps have the bass in full spring mode. Finesse techniques have worked well for mostly bucks in the 1.5, to 2.5 range, with the occasional 3lb to 6lber coming in as well.
