Colorado River - Laughlin - Laughlin, NV

We are having a great striper bite here along our shores and water way the Colorado River. Anglers are having success using anchovies and various swim baits. The shore that has been doing very well for a lot of anglers as we have some great spots where the fish hold up. The trout have been stocked by our city and anglers have been landing a few in the community park area and rotary park also.

Our local anglers Tom Gallant and fishing buddy John Schott were fishing on Tome boat, and they landed a few stripers in this case Tom landed the larger fish at 4.92 pounds and 25 and 1/2 inches. And yep they were fishing with anchovies these stripers in this size have been very popular and abundant this time of year. A reminder that some of our larger fish are out there it just seems that the smaller ones get to your bait first. I haven't heard much from the marsh which could be from the water levels or our heat. Seems a bit hotter this year and humid for this time of year.

For you hunters the dove season is open and waterfowl looks to be a great year for the marsh area. I did hear that the wild pigs that roam the marsh area have been open for hunting with some restricted rules so check with game and fish before you go hunting. if you have some luck, please let us know.

Thanks some much for all of your support and we hope this helps some for now and No go Catch A Fish Rusty Riviera Marina 520 Riviera Blvd. Bullhead city Az. 928-763-8550
