Christmas came early this past week on the Klamath river. The river gave up some some really beautiful fish and not just gorgeous Steelhead. The Klamath also gave us some beautiful hard fighting Coho (Silver) Salmon.

All these fish put a great bend in my clients rods amd huge smiles on there faces. All the Coho (All Coho were released) were caught while casting plugs lathered in ProCure Carpspit. While the Steelhead (All non adipose fin clipped Steelhead were released) were also caught while casting, and under the indicator with bugs and eggs.

Mother Nature threw some really wet and cold days at us but we were able to fish despite the conditions. This weather is what Winter Steelhead fishing is all about.

Winter Steelheading is a true test of gear and toughness. Fighting through wet cold rain and snow can be tough but the prizes are so worth it.

Checkout the pictures and enjoy, I have some open days left in December and I will be booking out January, February and March for Steelhead on the Klamath.

Give me a call 530 905 0758 or book online at Caldwellfishing.com

I have fishing trip gift certificates available they make great stocking stuffers for friends or loved ones.
